I Heart NY

I Heart NY by Baby Audio brings punchy New York-style parallel compression to your mix without extra buses or routing. It duplicates your incoming audio internally, compresses one path, and blends it with the dry signal for added weight and impact. The SPANK knob combines high-ratio compression, a transient-friendly envelope, and EQ shaping, while a filter in the detection path helps preserve low-end fullness. Use a light touch to give flat tracks more snap, or push harder for dense, assertive compression on drums and other material that needs extra energy. Want the processed sound on its own? SOLO mode mutes the dry path, turning I Heart NY into a conventional insert compressor. Its streamlined approach suits hobby producers who want characterful dynamics processing without interrupting their creative workflow, whether working on individual tracks or a full mix.
