FabFilter Saturn 2 Upgrade from Saturn 1

FabFilter Saturn 2 is a multiband distortion and saturation effect for producers who want anything from gentle harmonic warmth to aggressive sound design. This upgrade requires an existing Saturn 1 license. Its 28 distortion styles cover tube, tape, transformer and guitar amp character, alongside creative options such as bit crushing. Use it to thicken bass, add bite to drums, colour synths or apply subtle saturation when mastering. Split audio into up to six bands, then shape each range with independent drive, mix, feedback, dynamics, tone and level controls. Drag-and-drop modulation adds movement, with real-time visual feedback helping you follow each change. Optional linear phase processing and oversampling provide additional processing choices. Saturn 2 suits hobby producers and experienced mixers looking for detailed tonal control and more adventurous textures in one effect.
