Luminabells

Luminabells by Soundiron turns the delicate resonance of incandescent light bulbs into an unusual Kontakt instrument. Recorded with fingers, palms, sticks, mallets and other bulbs, its sounds range from tuned and untuned percussion to sustained melodic textures and ethereal effects. Expect fragile glassy attacks, subtle filament vibrations and bell-like tones, with some natural hiss and rumble retained to preserve their quiet detail. It’s a distinctive palette for ambient tracks, cinematic cues, experimental beats or gentle melodic accents. The Kontakt interface offers controls for envelopes, pitch, vibrato, filtering and articulation layering, alongside an adaptable LFO and customizable arpeggiator. Twenty sound-designed FX presets provide starting points for further exploration. Luminabells suits producers and composers looking for intimate, organic textures that reach beyond conventional bells and percussion.
