EQ1A Equalizer

Mellowmuse EQ1A is an analogue-style equalizer for smooth tonal shaping with minimal phase coloration. Use it to trim low-end rumble, adjust bass weight, bring mids into focus or add top-end brightness across individual tracks and buses. Its five filter sections include a high-pass filter, low and high shelves, and two sweepable peak bands. Variable Q on the high-pass and peak filters lets you tailor their response, while separate bypass switches make it easy to check each section’s contribution. The high-pass spans 10 Hz to 1 kHz, and the high shelf reaches 18 kHz, offering plenty of scope for everyday mixing adjustments. Inspired by classic outboard EQs, the layout keeps controls within easy reach. With efficient CPU use, 64-bit internal processing, a phase switch and output level control, EQ1A suits home producers who want straightforward EQ across busy sessions.
