Pendulate

Pendulate by Newfangled Audio is a chaotic monosynth for producers who want to move beyond familiar synth tones. Its double-pendulum-inspired oscillator travels smoothly from a clean sine wave into complex, unstable textures, offering plenty of room for warm basses, biting low-end riffs, and searing leads. A Buchla-inspired wavefolder and low pass gate shape that raw motion into anything from rounded tones to gritty, aggressive sounds. For evolving patches and expressive playing, you can modulate every parameter across the three main modules using the envelope generator, LFO, MIDI, or MPE sources. The main-page modulation interface supports up to 169 simultaneous routings, encouraging deeper experimentation without losing sight of the sound-shaping controls. Pendulate suits electronic musicians, adventurous beatmakers, and sound designers looking for a distinctive synth that balances playable tones with unpredictable movement.
