SYMPHONIC: Hammered Violin for Ableton Live

SYMPHONIC: Hammered Violin by KLANG brings an unconventional orchestral texture to Ableton Live. Instead of recording a violin with its usual bow, KLANG struck the instrument with a piano hammer and a xylophone mallet, capturing a distinctive, percussive take on its familiar tone. The result offers an alternative to sustained string parts, with a character suited to rhythmic accents, unusual melodic lines and experimental arrangements. A built-in sequencer lets you create rhythmic patterns, making it easy to explore the instrument beyond individual notes. Part of KLANG’s SYMPHONIC range, Hammered Violin suits producers and composers who want acoustic sounds with a less traditional edge. Try it when a track needs orchestral colour without reaching for another conventional violin patch.
