MAAT LINpro is a stereo dithering and word-length reduction plugin designed for the final stage of mastering. Place it last in your processing chain before converting audio to a fixed-point delivery format. With 16-bit and 24-bit output options, it suits CD masters, high-resolution releases and other finished audio exports. An 8-bit setting makes it easier to hear and compare how different dither choices affect the result. LINpro offers seven noise-shaping spectra, including psychoacoustic options that help tailor the character and distribution of added noise. TPDF, high-passed TPDF and rectangular dither provide further scope for practical mastering or experimentation. Automatic muting and visual plots of the noise shapes round out the workflow.
