Chromaphone 3 + PACKS

Chromaphone 3 + PACKS by Applied Acoustics Systems puts physically modelled acoustic synthesis at the centre of your productions. Built around eight acoustic resonators, this synthesizer blends the presence of struck objects with unusual, expressive timbres for melodies, beats and evolving soundscapes. Two independent layers can be stacked for richer textures or split for performance, giving you room to combine contrasting sounds in one patch. Explore more than 1,000 factory sounds, including 420 new presets and 676 remastered Chromaphone 2 sounds, with a browser organised by packs, categories and creators. Four MIDI-assignable macros per layer offer hands-on control over modulation, timbre, envelopes and effects. Whether you enjoy building distinctive rhythmic parts or finding an atmospheric starting point, Chromaphone 3 suits producers who want acoustic character with the flexibility of a synthesizer.
