Tone Empire Goliath V2 is an analogue-modelled channel strip that combines saturation, FET compression and EQ for shaping tracks with vintage character. Four processing chains offer distinct flavours: Alloy draws on British 1081-style transformer colour, Tube adds valve harmonics with an AIR circuit, Tape captures the warmth and compression of an ATR-700 running at 15 ips, and Vinyl models a mastering chain feeding a Neumann cutting machine. Use the Drive control to push each model’s saturation character, from silky coloration to more pronounced harmonic texture. A low-cut filter, FET envelope section and three-band EQ let you refine dynamics and tonal balance within the same plugin. Built around Tone Empire’s Multi Convolution and component modelling techniques, Goliath V2 suits producers who want to soften transients, add warmth or explore different analogue colours without assembling a separate processing chain.
