String Flow Viola

String Flow Viola by Ben Osterhouse brings lively, bowed chord textures to your productions. Built from recordings of a viola player rapidly rolling the bow across the strings, this sampled instrument offers an energetic alternative to sustained string parts. Use it to add movement to cinematic cues, layered arrangements, or songs that need an organic string pulse. Two playing approaches suit different levels of musical experience. For quick results, select a chord type and key, then play the white keys to trigger harmonies that stay within your chosen key. For more direct control, play a supported chord to hear its recorded viola performance. Included MIDI clips demonstrate which chords are available. It suits producers looking for expressive viola textures, whether they prefer straightforward, key-based playing or a more hands-on approach to harmony.
