UFO Tone

UFO Tone by Soundiron is a multisampled steel tongue drum instrument for Kontakt, bringing rounded metallic notes, shimmering overtones and long, gentle decays to your productions. Recorded at St. Paul’s Church in San Francisco, its eight mallet-struck tongues offer two perspectives: a close stereo recording for definition and a distant pair for spacious ambience. Solo or layer tongues, articulations and microphone positions to build anything from intimate melodic percussion to atmospheric textures. The interface provides envelope and pitch controls, modulation, filters and an arpeggiator with adjustable swing and randomization. Key and scale locking helps keep melodic ideas focused, while 20 sound-designed FX presets offer starting points for experimentation. A modular effects rack adds further processing options. Suited to hobby producers and composers exploring ambient, cinematic or electronic music, UFO Tone pairs an organic percussion sound with flexible creative shaping.
