Vertigo Strings

Vertigo Strings by Cinematique Instruments is a string instrument built around freely blending 16 sound sources into rich, organic ensembles. Violins, viola, cellos and upright basses sit alongside bowed guitar, psaltery, vintage harmonium, synth strings and tape-recorded textures. Articulations range from delicate ponticello and harmonics to arco playing, giving your arrangements both softness and grain. Rather than sticking to a conventional orchestral palette, you can shape hybrid string layers for atmospheric scores, ambient tracks or expressive backing parts. Start with one of 15 ensemble presets, explore unexpected combinations with the Dice randomizer, or build your own blend. Tone, Fog and Retro controls help colour the result, while six reverb types include infinite and deep valley options. Mod-wheel volume control adds hands-on expression. It suits producers and composers looking for characterful strings with room to experiment.
