McDSP Analog Channel HD v7 brings analog console and tape character to digital mixes through two dedicated effects. AC101 models channel amplifier circuits, working as a digital preamp with drive control to shape saturation and compression. Adjustable attack and release settings let you refine how that coloration responds to your audio. AC202 focuses on tape machine emulation, offering bias, playback speed, IEC1/2 equalization, selectable playback heads, and tape formulations. Its low-frequency roll-off and head bump controls work independently of playback speed, giving you extra freedom to shape the bottom end. Use it to add warmth to clean recordings, thicken individual tracks, or introduce tape-style saturation across a mix. With mono and stereo versions, saturation displays, and analog mixing presets, it suits producers who want detailed control over analog coloration. This HD edition is intended for AAX DSP users.
