Surreal Machines Modnetic v1.3.1 -Articstorm

Surreal Machines Modnetic is a multi-effect plugin built around the sound of 1970s analog tape delays. It combines echo, reverb, modulation and tone shaping for producers who want vintage-style repeats alongside more unusual digital treatments. The Windows version comes in VST2 and VST3 formats, making it suitable for compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.

The delay section lets you combine three virtual tape heads, choose between two reverse-delay effects, or use Hold to recreate the changing texture of audio repeatedly recorded back onto tape. Reverb adds another layer of space with 35 impulse responses. For movement, the modulation section includes chorus, flanger and phaser, with options ranging from BBD-inspired analog models to clean digital processing and deliberately rougher textures.

Four vintage machine characters influence the delay and modulation sound, while a dedicated control adjusts how strongly that character comes through. Flexible routing lets you blend the effects in different ways. Modnetic suits hobby producers looking to add tape-style echoes, spacious ambience or shifting modulation to their tracks within one plugin.
