Zero 1 Synth

Zero 1 Synth is a single-oscillator virtual analog instrument inspired by the 1982 CS01 monosynth, but with a unique sonic twist. Instead of sampling the original DCOs cleanly, Loot Audio ran them through tube overdrive and a Watkins Copicat tape delay, adding rich character and movement to every waveform. You get 50 24-bit samples across triangle, sawtooth, 50% square, 25% square and PWM, plus 40 editable example patches and 10 layered multi-patches to save. A standout feature lets you switch between Mk I and Mk II CS01 filter emulations—12dB/oct or 24dB/oct—with the panel livery changing to match. Ideal for hobby producers chasing warm, gritty analog tones with a lo-fi edge, Zero 1 excels at leads, basses and textured pads in electronic, synthwave and experimental music. It runs in FL Studio, Ableton and Logic on Windows, making it a versatile addition to any plugin collection.
