6-Trax

6-Trax is a sample-based instrument that captures the warm, dark character of a classic 1984 analog polysynth. Built from 871 24-bit samples, it delivers the raw, authentic tone of a single-oscillator-per-voice design, with filters that can self-oscillate into unstable textures or produce bell-like and percussive sounds. The VCA setup allows filter overdrive, adding grit and dimension. A handful of patches were run through a vintage triple-chorus stage for extra richness. With 69 example instruments and 31 layered multis, it’s ready for immediate use in your DAW. It suits hobby producers making synthwave, ambient, electronic and lo-fi tracks who want vintage analog warmth without the hassle of hardware. Whether you need deep basses, expressive leads or evolving pads, 6-Trax offers a surprisingly versatile palette from a humble classic.
