Antique Metal Percussion is a Kontakt instrument library built from unlikely sources: a copper fire extinguisher, a WWII ammo box, a decommissioned grenade, a seaside lantern, an iron bedrail, and a library book cart. Each object was lightly struck to capture its unique metallic timbre, resulting in 42 patches and over 330 samples with 4x round robins and velocity sensitivity. The GUI offers convolution reverb with 13 custom impulse responses, an arpeggiator, pitch control, attack/release shaping, and three-band EQ. Beyond percussion, you get 70+ reversal sounds, 13 long tension builders, 12 atonal looping pads, and grisly scrapes—ideal for horror scoring, cinematic tension, and avant-garde textures. It suits hobby producers in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic looking for distinctive metal impacts and atmospheric FX. Requires the full version of Kontakt.
