Tension Drums

Tension Drums is a Kontakt instrument library built for producers who need metallic percussion that feels uneasy, cinematic, and larger than life. It delivers three distinct kits of multisampled hits sourced from machine parts, tools, derelict mining equipment, chairs, tubes, doors, and even candelabras, with ensemble stomps captured in a late-1800s hall. The result is crisp, sharp, and perfect for horror scores, tension beds, trailer impacts, and dark electronic productions. Each patch includes round-robin variation, while the GUI offers pitch, EQ, low-pass filtering, grit, reverb, attack, and release controls so you can shape sounds from tiny ticks to huge, room-shaking slams. With seven Kontakt instruments total, it suits composers, sound designers, and beatmakers working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want unconventional, character-rich percussion. Requires the full version of Kontakt.
