Sequencer One

Sequencer One is a Kontakt instrument that faithfully recreates a rare eight-step CV/Gate sequencer from the early 1980s. Originally triggered by a drumstick hit, this quirky silver box packed a single analogue oscillator with pitch, decay and speed controls. Loot Audio’s software version keeps that minimalist charm while adding modern playability. Despite its toy-like looks, it excels at complex percussive synth patterns, deep basslines and wild arpeggios across an eight-octave range. Whether you’re crafting retro electro grooves, experimental sound design or lo-fi synthwave, Sequencer One delivers iconic, characterful tones. It suits hobby producers and seasoned sound explorers alike who want a unique rhythmic synth with a vintage soul. Requires the full version of Kontakt.
