BLUE-III is a 16-voice cross-fusion synthesizer that combines subtractive, FM, wave and phase distortion, virtual analog, spectrum waveforms, Karplus-Strong string modeling, and sample-based synthesis in one instrument. Six oscillators offer flexible algorithm routing, and you can load up to six of your own samples per preset with velocity and keyboard splits. Two filters provide serial or parallel routing across multiple types and slopes, from 6dB to 36dB, plus comb filtering. The XY pad stays on the front panel, and the resizable GUI (100–200%) includes animated dials and a bank manager. With over 5000 presets from Rob Papen and guest sound designers, it suits producers crafting electronic, cinematic, and experimental music who want deep sound design without sacrificing playability. The engine draws on the B.I.T. virtual analog synth for polished audio quality, making BLUE-III a versatile choice for hobbyists and professionals alike.
