KorgDense

Dense is a vintage virtual analog oscillator plugin for KORG prologue, minilogue xd, and NTS-1 synthesizers. It builds its sound from four separate oscillators with saw, square, and triangle waveforms, using a technique reminiscent of early virtual analog synths. Each oscillator has its own random pitch drift LFO, and global pitch can vary slightly on every key press, simulating the tuning instabilities of old analog gear—from subtle to ‘badly needs calibration.’ With 50 oscillator configurations covering waveform, coarse tune, output level, ring modulation, and bit depth reduction, Dense offers a wide sonic palette. A one-pole high-pass filter and sine LFO for vibrato add final polish. The result is beautifully vintage-style sounds full of life and organic movement, ideal for producers seeking warm, unstable analog character in their KORG multi-engine synths.
