Magnetite

Magnetite by Black Rooster Audio captures the authentic sound of magnetic tape recorders in a single plugin. Dial in the recording gain knob to add saturation and warmth, bringing analog tape character to your mixes. It models Class A recording and playback amplifiers, tape response, NAB pre- and de-emphasis EQs, plus the sonic effects of different tape speeds and bias levels. Even hiss, hum, and adjustable wow and flutter are included for realistic tape behavior. Use it as the first insert in your chain to simulate recording to tape, or experiment creatively anywhere in the signal path. It excels on huge drums, distorted loops, and saturated vocals, breathing new life into tracks. With SSE2-optimized DSP, auto-adjusted oversampling for transparency, and high DPI/Retina support, Magnetite suits hobby producers seeking genuine tape warmth in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic.
