Dub System

Dub System by DopeSONIX is a vintage-flavored VST/AU instrument built for producers chasing authentic Jamaican dub and reggae vibes. It packs hundreds of ready-to-use patches, all recorded, EQ’d, and mixed to capture that legendary island sound. The collection covers heavy, rumbling bass patches—from old-school live Fender tones to modern synth sines—plus vintage keys like MKI/MKII electric piano, melodica, and piano, including major and minor skank piano for instant dub chords. A full horn section offers brass ensembles and solo trumpets and saxophones, while skank guitars with muted string articulations provide the rhythmic counterpart to deep basslines. Whether you make dub, reggae, dub techno, lo-fi, hip-hop, or drum & bass, Dub System puts classic roots instrumentation right in your DAW. It suits hobby producers who want genre-authentic sounds without deep sound-design work, and anyone needing quick access to the unmistakable DNA of dub culture.
