Pianoverse – Hamburg Grand S274

Pianoverse – Hamburg Grand S274 is a virtual instrument that captures a 1958 Hamburg Steinway D-274 concert grand in stunning detail. Using robot-assisted deep multisampling at Milan’s Officine Meccaniche studios, IK Multimedia preserved the piano’s classically clean European tone, with its gradual timbral shift from bass to treble and articulate round-tone voicing in the tenor and mid-treble. The result is a focused, expressive sound ideal for classical, jazz, and cinematic compositions where nuance matters. Close mics and Blumlein room mics recreate the immersive experience of sitting at this rare instrument, while the Pianoverse engine delivers infinite piano expressions. Whether you’re a hobbyist producer or seasoned pianist, this plugin offers a slice of Steinway history for your DAW. It suits those seeking an authentic, responsive grand piano for solo work, scoring, or adding organic depth to any mix.
