112dB Redline Monitor is a headphone monitoring plugin that creates a more speaker-like listening perspective for mixing, mastering, and everyday playback. It is designed for producers who work mainly on headphones, whether in a home studio, an untreated room, or a portable setup.
Instead of leaving the left and right channels fully isolated, Redline Monitor uses crossfeed alongside filtering, frequency-dependent delays, mid/side processing, and room simulation. Together, these processes bring some of the interaction between speakers and both ears into headphone listening. The result is a soundstage intended to feel more in front of you rather than confined inside your head.
This approach helps you assess panning, relative instrument levels, and overall mix balance through a stereo perspective closer to near-field monitors. It also adjusts how panned sounds are perceived and aims to make extended headphone sessions less tiring. Headphone and speaker frequency responses still differ, so it is a monitoring aid rather than a guarantee of identical playback.
The Windows version is supplied in VST3 and AAX formats, making it suitable for compatible hosts including FL Studio and Ableton Live.
