4020 Retro EQ Native v7 Upgrade from v6

A four-band EQ and filter set built for producers who want vintage character without sacrificing modern control. The 4020 Retro EQ pairs shelving high and low bands with two parametric mid bands, and every band uses a gain-dependent variable slope/Q design. That means gentle, musical shaping at low settings and tighter frequency focus as you push the gain, giving you that smooth retro tone with extra precision exactly where you need it. The high-pass and low-pass filters use a split-octave design, moving from a gentle 12 dB/octave slope near the cutoff up to a steep 24 dB/octave maximum. An anti-clip output stage keeps digital clipping at bay at any level, while analog saturation modeling adds warmth and a softer distortion character. It suits mixers tracking and mixing vocals, drums, guitars and buses who want an EQ with personality. This version is an upgrade for existing v6 owners.
