Addictive Keys: Electric Grand

Addictive Keys: Electric Grand by XLN Audio brings the distinctive Yamaha CP-80 electric grand piano into your productions. Its sampled sound combines the physical attack of hammers and strings with direct pickup tone and amplified character, giving you a palette that reaches beyond a conventional acoustic piano. Seven recording setups cover stereo acoustic strings, clean line output, vintage Roland Dimension-D chorus, and a Music Man tube combo captured with close and room microphones. Use these contrasting perspectives to shape intimate R&B chords, bright pop hooks, indie rock piano parts, or textured house arrangements. The Addictive Keys engine adds detailed playback and studio effects, including modeled tremolo and tone controls inspired by the original instrument. With ready-made presets and scope to build your own sounds, Electric Grand suits producers and keyboard players seeking an expressive piano with a recognizably electric edge.
