Adobe Premiere Pro 2022 is a standalone video editor for Windows, not a VST audio plugin. It suits music producers making performance videos, YouTube content, or promotional clips, as well as filmmakers and editors working on longer projects. Use it alongside your music production setup to turn footage and finished tracks into edited video content.
The timeline-based workflow combines video editing with color correction, audio cleanup, and graphics tools. Lumetri Color provides selective curve adjustments, while the Essential Sound panel includes controls for reducing background noise and reverb. Broad native media support covers formats up to 8K and virtual reality, with proxy workflows available to make demanding footage easier to handle.
Connections with After Effects, Adobe Audition, and Adobe Stock help you move between related creative tasks. You can also customize Motion Graphics templates inside Premiere Pro, including infographic templates linked to spreadsheet data.
This listing is for the 64-bit Windows version. The supplied requirements specify 16 GB RAM, 4 GB GPU VRAM, and a 1920 × 1080 display, with an SSD recommended for installation and cache.
