Ample Slide Lapsteel

Ample Slide Lapsteel brings the expressive, singing voice of a vintage 70s Jedson lap steel—the same model favored by David Gilmour—into your DAW. Built for slide playing, its polyphonic legato slide engine blends real samples with algorithmic nuance so you can perform smooth, pitch-accurate slides of any length. Nine articulations cover legato slides, glissandos, quarter slides, harmonics, and more, while mono and stereo modes shape the stereo image. The Riffer and String Roll Editor give you deep MIDI control for detailed phrasing. A built-in amp sim with six amps, seven cabs, and eight mics, plus an eight-band EQ, compressor, six-tap echo, and IR reverb, lets you sculpt tones from clean to saturated. With 2.8 GB of samples full of character and natural noise, it suits cinematic scoring, ambient textures, blues, and classic rock. Ideal for hobby producers seeking authentic slide sounds.
