Analog Obsession TRAX v2.0 WiN macOS

Analog Obsession TRAX v2.0 is a free transient designer for producers who want to adjust the punch and decay of their sounds without navigating a complex interface. It is useful for shaping drums, percussion and other material with distinct attacks, whether you need a sharper initial hit or a softer entrance.

The Attack control boosts or reduces the opening portion of a transient, while Sustain changes the level of its trailing section. Together, they let you bring out impact or pull back lingering tails. A separate Output control provides up to 15 dB of gain or attenuation for balancing the processed signal.

Clicking the Analog Obsession label switches on 4x oversampling, with a red label indicating that it is active. The interface scales from 50% to 200% using a corner handle; saving a resized instance as your DAW’s default preset helps retain your preferred size for future instances.

On Windows 10–11, TRAX supports VST3 and AAX Native/AudioSuite and requires OpenGL-compatible graphics. Its VST3 version suits compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.
