Analog Obsession TREQ is a free, T-style four-band EQ for producers who want straightforward control over tonal balance. It suits hobby music makers shaping individual tracks or adjusting a mix, with shelving bands for broad changes and sweepable mids for more focused adjustments.
The high shelf switches between 8 kHz and 12 kHz, while the low shelf offers 60 Hz or 120 Hz. Both provide up to 15 dB of boost or cut. The low-mid band covers 100 Hz to 1.5 kHz, and the high-mid band runs from 1 kHz to 15 kHz, each with the same gain range. A switchable 50 Hz high-pass filter helps reduce unwanted low-frequency content.
Input and output controls each offer ±15 dB of adjustment, and an output VU meter helps you monitor level changes. Clicking the Analog Obsession label enables 4x oversampling. Version 5.1 adds mouse-over value readouts and corrects the low-mid Q. Windows VST and VST3 formats suit compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live; Mac formats also include AU for Logic Pro.
