Artist Series – Tina Guo

Tina Guo from Cinesamples is a sample library built around the expressive acoustic and electric cello performances of cellist Tina Guo, plus the traditional Chinese erhu. It’s designed for composers and producers who want emotive, cinematic strings with a modern edge. The acoustic cello legato patches were recorded at the legendary MGM Scoring Stage at Sony Pictures Studios, and include the CineStrings Solo Legato engine with Infinite Bow for smooth, natural phrasing. The electric cello and erhu bring a more experimental, sound-design-friendly flavor, letting you craft everything from soaring film-score lines to gritty hybrid textures. Whether you’re scoring a trailer, adding emotional depth to a pop track, or exploring unique sonic landscapes, this library puts Tina’s distinctive, improvisatory style right into your DAW. It suits hobbyist and professional producers alike who need versatile, characterful solo strings.
