ASHLIGHT

Ashlight is a granular instrument from Native Instruments built for producers who want to explore the darker, more atmospheric side of sound design. It pairs a specially recorded sample library with grain and sample playback modules inside a flexible engine, letting you shape monochrome soundscapes, pulsing bass textures, intricate leads, and cold, immersive atmospheres. Dedicated macro controls make it easy to dial in intensity and expression, while the deeper modulation options invite you to sculpt shifting textures—from tense, edge-of-your-seat sweeps to introspective keys and huge, world-shaking walls of sound. It suits film and game composers, electronic producers, and anyone working in ambient, cinematic, or experimental genres who needs evocative, moody tones. Ashlight is an instrument plugin, compatible with major DAWs on Windows and macOS.
