Piano Colors

Piano Colors by Native Instruments is an avant-garde instrument that reinvents the grand piano. It combines a deep pool of unique articulations—brushed, plucked, strummed, and bowed—with innovative modulation engines like Motion, Arpeggiator, and Particles. These tools interact with dynamics, tonal shifts, and motion to create expressive timbres, pulsing grooves, and evolving pads. The sound design process involved preparing the piano with mallets, drumsticks, rubber, screws, and EBows, resulting in lively resonances and colorful overtones. Ideal for film scoring, electronica, and pop production, Piano Colors suits producers seeking inspiring, organic textures that move and breathe. It integrates seamlessly with KOMPLETE KONTROL for hands-on control. Whether you need dramatic noir soundtracks or forward-thinking beats, this instrument pushes piano into unimaginable sonic territory.
