Atomika

Atomika is a circuit-modeled emulation of the Polivoks, the gritty Soviet-era synthesizer built at the Formanta Radio Factory from 1982 to 1990. Cherry Audio worked with DSP engineer Mark Barton to capture the original’s distinctive op-amp filter, then pushed it further with Starve, Filter Drive, Amp Drive, and extra highpass, notch, and peak filter modes. You get 16-voice polyphony, unison stacking, an expanded LFO, velocity and aftertouch response, glide, a flexible arpeggiator, and four studio-quality effects including Phasor, Flange/Chorus, Echo, and Reverb. Over 350 presets and extensive MIDI mapping make it ready to use. The raw, abrasive character suits techno, industrial, EBM, and experimental electronic music, while the added polyphony and effects let it handle pads, basses, and leads. It’s aimed at hobby producers and synth enthusiasts who want a genuinely different analog flavor in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic.
