Audio Damage Phosphor 3 is an additive synthesizer plugin inspired by the alphaSyntauri, an early-1980s digital instrument. It suits hobby producers and sound designers who want to explore vintage digital textures alongside cleaner, more detailed tones.

Its two voice sections each combine an additive wavetable oscillator, noise generator, amplitude envelope and filtered delay line, with separate level and pan controls. Build waveforms using 16, 32 or 64 partials, adjust their levels individually, or randomize them for a different starting point. Oscillator cross-modulation opens up further tonal possibilities, while selectable vintage modes add digital artifacts and distortion.

For movement, Phosphor provides two LFOs with multiple waveforms, random modulation, shape adjustment and optional host-tempo synchronization. Run them globally or per note, then use the modulation panel to assign sources and set their depth.

MPE support accommodates expressive controllers, and TUN-file loading lets you experiment with alternative tuning systems. A folder-based preset browser, ZIP import and export, and clipboard patch sharing make organizing and exchanging sounds straightforward. This Windows edition brings that synthesis workflow into your DAW-based setup.
