Audio Damage Axon 3 is a percussion synthesizer and drum sequencer for producers who want to explore patterns beyond conventional step programming. Its seven interconnected sequencer neurons exchange triggers, firing when their thresholds are reached. Trigger probability and ratcheting add variation, making it useful for IDM, experimental electronic tracks, and rhythmic sound design for film.

Each neuron controls a percussion voice combining FM and virtual-analog synthesis, with a model based on Audio Damage’s Boomtschack hardware drum synth. AM and FM buses let the seven voices interact for more complex sounds, while pitch and scale quantization help with melodic percussion.
