BFD Orchestral

BFD Orchestral brings concert percussion into BFD3, giving producers and composers an acoustic palette beyond the standard drum kit. This expansion includes orchestral bass drums, snares, hand cymbals, suspended cymbals, and chromatically tuned timpani and concert chimes. The tuned instruments span 1.5 octaves, opening up room for melodic percussion parts as well as traditional orchestral accents. Suspended cymbals add long, lingering decays, while carefully chosen high-end recording equipment captures the instruments’ dynamics and tonal detail. Use it to build dramatic film cues, add weight to commercial compositions, or introduce unexpected textures into progressive tracks and sound design projects. It suits BFD3 users who want expressive concert percussion that can sit in an orchestral arrangement or bring a different character to genre-crossing productions. BFD3 is required to use this expansion.
