Blamsoft VK-1 Viking Synthesizer is a free monophonic analog-modeling synth for producers who want weighty basslines, expressive leads, and electronic textures. Its three oscillators let you blend continuously between wave shapes rather than choose only fixed waveforms, while a separate noise generator offers three noise types.

The filter section pairs two transistor ladder filters in either dual low-pass or high-pass/low-pass configurations. Adjustable pole counts and drive modes give you ways to reshape the tone, from rounded and smooth to more gritty. A multi-wave LFO and two modulation buses add movement, making VK-1 useful for both straightforward patches and more animated sounds.
