Cassette Keys.01 for SFZ Player

Cassette Keys.01 for SFZ Player by THEPHONOLOOP brings cassette-worn character to a blend of physical modelling and FM synthesis. Recorded through an old, unstable cassette recorder, its sampled tones offer a vintage alternative to clean digital keys—ideal for mellow chords, nostalgic melodies and textured repeating patterns. The instrument spans C0 to E6, with four velocity layers that respond to your playing dynamics. Each note has been carefully de-noised to prevent unwanted hiss from building up across chords, while simulated round robin adds variation to repeated notes. The library includes 848 MB of samples and one preset, with editable volume envelope, panorama, vibrato and low-pass and high-pass filter settings. Mod-wheel control of vibrato makes it easy to add expression. It suits producers who enjoy characterful sampled synth sounds and want a focused keyboard instrument for an SFZ-compatible player.
