Cassette Plucks.01 for SFZ Player

Cassette Plucks.01 by THEPHONOLOOP brings two cassette-colored plucked instruments to your SFZ player. Built from physical modelling, subtractive synthesis and sampling, these sounds pair an Eastern-inspired character with soft lo-fi texture and the small imperfections of vintage tape. Each instrument spans five octaves with four dynamic layers, captured through two different cassette decks for contrasting tonal flavors. The collection includes 979 samples in uncompressed 24-bit WAV format, plus eight SFZ presets covering both decks with and without simulated round-robin. That variation helps quick melodic runs feel less repetitive. Notes have been carefully denoised to reduce noise buildup in chords while retaining their worn-in character. Ideal for hobby producers who enjoy vintage textures, this library suits mellow melodies, atmospheric layers and characterful plucked hooks. Use it with an SFZ-compatible player such as Plogue Sforzando.
