Cassette Plucks.01 – Multi-Format Bundle

Cassette Plucks.01 – Multi-Format Bundle by THEPHONOLOOP brings two custom plucked instruments into a characterful, cassette-colored sample collection. Built from physical modelling, subtractive synthesis and sampling, its tones combine an Eastern-inspired character with the small imperfections of vintage tape. Both instruments span five octaves with four dynamic layers, recorded through two different cassette decks. Use them for intimate melodies, textured chords and lo-fi hooks when clean digital plucks feel too polished. Carefully reduced sample noise helps keep layered notes under control, while a separate noise control lets you blend tape texture back in. The bundle covers Kontakt, Ableton Live, Logic and SFZ formats, with features varying by version: Kontakt includes custom reverb impulses, while Kontakt and SFZ offer simulated round robin. It suits producers looking for expressive sampled plucks with an organic, nostalgic edge.
