Chordscape by Loot Audio is a Kontakt instrument built around tape-style playback for evolving ambient soundscapes. Its 8GB library draws on acoustic instruments, field recordings, synthesizers, outboard processing and custom sound design, offering plenty of material for dark drones, spacious pads and shifting textures. Layer four sound sources, explore 13 sound categories through the built-in browser, and shape movement with four dedicated sequencers. Nearly every control supports modulation, with independent speeds and sequences ranging from 4 to 128 steps for rhythmic pulses or gradual transformations. Four send effects slots provide additional processing, while 421 snapshots across 10 categories offer starting points for exploration.
