Fameboy

Fameboy is a Kontakt drum instrument that combines original samples with synthesis, sequencing and sound-shaping tools for gritty, retro-inspired beats. Its lo-fi character makes it a natural fit for chiptune and crunchy electronic rhythms, while flexible sound-mangling controls let you push beyond arcade-style sounds. Build grooves with the onboard sequencers, store up to eight patterns per sequence and switch between them using keyswitches. MIDI drag-and-drop lets you move patterns into your DAW for detailed editing. Across its 16 channels, Fameboy offers plenty of room to assemble a drum mix, with master processing including bit crushing, sample-rate reduction, saturation, compression, EQ and stereo width. Multi-output routing bypasses the master effects for separate channel processing in Kontakt. Included snapshots and presets from Si Begg provide starting points for hobby producers and adventurous beatmakers who enjoy hands-on rhythm programming.
