CinePiano

CinePiano by Cinesamples is a concert grand piano instrument recorded at the MGM Scoring Stage, offering four distinct sonic characters: Standard, Classical, Cinematic, and Rock Studio Grand. The Standard patch provides separate close, room, and surround microphone mixes, while the other patches each deliver a specialized mix—Classical for concert realism, Cinematic for intimate muted textures, and Rock Studio Grand for a bright, punchy edge. The Perspective Fader lets you smoothly crossfade between microphone positions via Mod Wheel, and Pedal Behavior models realistic repedalling. The Character knob acts as a macro for intimate to aggressive playing, while Soundboard emulates sympathetic resonances when the sustain pedal is down. With its fff layer and cinematic flexibility, CinePiano suits film composers, producers, and singer-songwriters seeking expressive, production-ready piano tones for scoring, pop, and rock mixes.
