David Oliver’s Drum Kit

David Oliver’s Drum Kit is a deeply sampled virtual instrument built around a vintage 1980s Pearl DLX drumset, handpicked and performed by British composer and percussionist David Oliver. Recorded at The Whitehouse Studios in the UK, it captures the kit with multiple stick types and articulations, from ultra-soft to ultra-loud, plus an extensive cymbal collection including Zildjian, Sabian, Paiste and Wuhan models. The compact 18-inch kick, 12-inch rack tom and 14-inch floor tom deliver a punchy, versatile sound suited to jazz, rock, pop and beyond. Multiple mic positions let you dial in your own mix quickly, while the expressive sampling preserves realistic drumming detail. This instrument suits hobby producers and composers who need an authentic, customizable acoustic drum kit for FL Studio, Ableton or Logic on Windows.
