Dawesome MYTH is a synthesizer for Windows that uses audio resynthesis and non-linear processing to build sounds from the detail already present in a sample. Drop in an audio file and MYTH turns it into an IRIS, a resynthesized sound source you can reshape with its TRANSFORMER controls. Rather than starting with a fixed oscillator waveform and programming every variation, you can explore the movement and character captured in your original audio.

Its synthesis approach covers tonal territory associated with FM, physical modelling, wavetables and analog synthesis without requiring a separate workflow for each. The emphasis is on hands-on adjustment: turn controls, hear the result and develop a patch through experimentation. Conventional LFOs, envelopes and filters are also available when you want additional shaping or modulation.
