DMC-12

The DMC-12 Drum Machine brings the iconic digital drum sounds of the 1980s into one powerful Kontakt instrument. It packs 460 classic samples from legendary machines, with full control over sample start, volume, pitch, pan, decay, and EQ for each of its 12 drum slots. You can import your own samples via drag-and-drop or the onboard browser, then shape them with six reverb modes, six delay models, flanger, overdrive, and compression. The mixer page gives you quick access to all 12 sounds, while the TR-style sequencer lets you program patterns by clicking and dragging or record in real time like the classic DMX and LinnDrum. Apply swing and humanize, combine patterns into songs, and export MIDI. With factory kits and eight user kit slots, it’s ideal for producers chasing authentic 80s drum vibes in electronic, pop, and retro genres. Requires the full version of Kontakt.
