Dyna-Mu

Dyna-Mu is a meticulous emulation of a classic American vari-mu tube compressor, prized for its warm, vividly colored tone. It excels at gluing a full mix together with rich analog character, yet is equally at home on individual tracks and in a mastering chain. Simple controls—Input, Threshold, Attack, Release, Output—make it fast to dial in, while the HARD switch toggles between a gentle 1.5:1 ratio for mixes and a firmer 4:1 for single sources. The GANG and LINK switches manage stereo operation, and the Side Chain high-pass filter reduces sensitivity to low-end rumble. Push it hard for saturation and unique color. Use it on drums for snap and ambience, vocals for cut, or bass for solid presence. It suits hobby producers seeking authentic tube compression in any DAW.
