Joe Chiccarelli Vocal Strip

The Joe Chiccarelli Vocal Strip is a vocal processing plugin that recreates the exact signal chain used by GRAMMY-winning engineer Joe Chiccarelli on countless hit records. It combines three meticulously modeled compressors—a UREI 1176-style main compressor, a Fairchild 670-inspired retro unit, and a custom hybrid tube compressor—into one streamlined tool. Each compressor has its own mute button, letting you blend them in parallel for anything from subtle warmth to aggressive character. This parallel processing engine preserves the vocal’s soul while adding radio-ready polish and emotional impact. Whether you’re recording a delicate ballad or a powerful rock vocal, this strip gives you Joe’s proven formula for making vocals stand out. It’s ideal for hobby producers and serious mixers alike who want professional vocal sounds without complex routing. Perfect for pop, rock, indie, and any genre where the vocal is the star.
